For the odd occasion when you're not out exploring, our B&B has a large lounge with comfy settees, Sky+ HD TV, games, books, magazines and DVD's. There's a roaring log burner so you can warm your toes after those long winter walks or rides and we also have free WiFi for planning your adventures (hopefully NOT for catching up on too much work!).
We are a fully non-smoking bed and breakfast and don't accept pets. Familiy and group bookings are welcome and we can provide a pull out bed in at least one of our rooms for a child (age 5 or over unless part of a group booking). We can also offer special rates for a family gathering where all rooms are booked.
You're not confined to your room as our B&B has a large lounge which is light and airy in summer and has a log burning stove which is great for a roaring fire in the winter months. Relax and unwind after a day of walking, riding, sightseeing or power shopping!
We have reading chairs and three big comfy sofas for you to stretch out on. There's Sky+ HD, a DVD player and wireless internet. You can put your feet up and read about the area from one of our many guide books, maps and brochures or relax and watch a DVD.
We've got loads of magazines and books to read too. In fact we'll probably have to force you out of the door each morning to go and explore!
After an active day on the North Yorkshire Moors or exploring in Dalby Forest you can come back to our welcoming B&B and relax in one of our tastefully decorated en-suite bedrooms.
Our rooms are light and spacious and we like to offer you a few home comforts to help you settle in. All rooms contain quality teas, coffee, hot chocolate, hand made biscuits and filtered water. We'll even bring you some fresh milk if you like. There's a digital freeview colour TV in each room and there's also a hairdryer and complimentary bathroom toiletries.
We have three double/twin rooms. Two are superking or twin rooms with en-suite shower room and one is a standard double which can take a pull out bed with a large en-suite bath and shower room.
Our breakfast room is light and airy looking out over the garden to the rear of the house. Guests are seated at their own table or groups can sit around the main dining table.
There's a breakfast bar where you can choose from quality muesli, cereals, fresh fruit, local jams and honey or yoghurt with home made fruit compote. All that's is before the main event if you've ordered a cooked breakfast! Take a look at the 'Your Stay' page for more information
You're more than welcome to use the room on an evening if you'd like to spread out maps and plan your next day of exploring and adventure!
